Celebrations began at 7pm, with guests being piped to their seats in true Scottish style. The classic three-course meal, which included the well-known haggis, neeps, and tatties, gave our guests the taste of Scotland, finished off with the finest dram of Whisky.
Local Scotsman Chris Ridge, gave an amusing performance of the “Ode to the Haggis”, which brought a little humour and tradition to the festivities.
Much fun was had by all, the atmosphere was packed with laughter, delicious food, and the spirit of Burns Night.
