Join us in giving a huge warm welome to our new head chef, Todd Mannion. A seasoned veteran of the Cheshire Gastro pub scene, Todd joins us from The Church Inn, Mobberley.

We had a great night for our Wine Tasting evening, hosted by the Director at House of Townend – Neil Goldie. We learnt some tricks and secrets to professional wine tasting, along with the background on the wines, where they come from, how they are made and what makes them so special, and why they were chosen to feature on The White Lion wine list!

We had so much fun on Burns Night celebrating the great bard, Robert Burns.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a member of the South Cheshire Pipe band to pipe in our guests, and had a great time listening to the Burns poem recital to ceremonially address the haggis – toasted with a with a nip of whiskey of course!
